It’s embarrassing to admit, but I write blogs professionally for clients, but I’ve let mine sit on the shelf these past few months. But I have good reasons for doing so and I want to share them with you and share some exciting new things I have planned for you in 2019!
My goal for 2019 is to make professional content marketing services available to more business owners than ever before. I’ve planned the evolution of my business to work towards this goal.
Personal Changes (and an exciting win to share)
First, you know I value being real with you and I want to share a personal achievement (not related to my business).
As many of you know I’m a mom of 2 toddlers so life is busy! I’ve decided to focus more on my health. I worked hard and I’ve lost almost 20 lbs over the Fall season! I did it all by changing my eating habits and exercising more.
As anyone who’s tried to lose weight can attest, this can be a difficult thing to do. I’m proud of my progress and I’m equally focused to continue my weight loss in the new year so I can meet my health goals in 2019!
Business Development
In the last half of 2018 I spent a lot of time at networking and coaching events. I’ve met so many new people who have inspired some exciting changes at WriterGal Marketing:
- Change #1 – New Packages: I’ve re-designed my packages (and I’m launching new ones soon) to better meet the needs of my clients. I’m making your lives easier by including more services as “standard” for those who prefer to have a less hands-on approach to their projects. By adding to my current package offering, it’ll save you so much time as I’ll do more for you!
- Change #2 – Better Pricing Structure: I’ve evolved my pricing structures and clients who pay for the entire contract up-front will receive a small discount (up to 20-30% in some cases). This way the “money” stuff isn’t a distraction from our project, and you can save a few bucks!
- Change #3 – More Blogs…and even guest blogs: I plan to post weekly or bi-weekly in my Content Marketing Matters blog too! I’m also looking to have guest bloggers write on my blog (if you want to contribute please give me a shout). Let me know what topics you want to see!
- Change #4 – Becoming a local networking leader: I’m excited to tease that I will be a local chapter leader for a great business networking group starting in February. I can’t share the details just yet, but will very soon! Stay tuned…
